carlisle is your stereotypical dad who takes selfies with his children, takes a selfie in his vehicle before he leaves for work with the caption “on my way to work!” and update his story with things like “on my way to the bank!” or “hello weekend!”. he’ll be the one to make snapchat videos and take snaps while his children are fighting in the background. his stories are always focused on family and there are tons of selfies of him with esme, smiling, with her doing something in the kitchen and he surprises her with a quick cheek kiss. he doesn’t know how to use the filters and he’ll send dad jokes with his snaps. these jokes worsen when he discovers how to use filters.
esme has your kitchen aesthetic. she’ll take snaps with the time filter in the background. she’s the one who takes pictures of her wine glass and re-arrange food in her kitchen to look nice for a photo. she’ll take lots of candid photos of her children and her husband, a lot of them with snapchat filters. her kind of humour is to take pictures of her children while they’re doing something and zoom in on their faces. she’s That Mom
™ who’ll film one of her kids over her shoulder with a big smile and they’ll shout “mom!” when they finally catch her. her stories are always updated at 12:00 pm with a selfie taken with someone else.
edward is the artsy edgy kid who only uses the black/white filter and makes dramatic snaps of himself playing the piano. he’s the hipster that gets one of his brothers to take a snap of him leaning dramatically against a wall, with the time stamp filter. he usually avoids asking jasper to help him out with this because jasper always screws it up for him. edward is the kid who takes pictures of the library, the book he’s reading, or he’ll go for a walk and take very beautiful pictures/snap videos of scenery. he adds people to his snapchat but he doesn’t actually send anyone individual snaps, everything is typically uploaded to his story.
emmett’s snapchat is constantly updated with him going about his daily life. he’s the guy who’ll upload snaps of himself hanging out with his family or his friends, he’ll take pictures of whatever he’s drinking, send out “good morning, snapchat!” snaps to his story and overuse the dog filter. rosalie makes a ton of appearances on his snaps and she’s usually busy on her own phone and looks up long enough to give emmett an annoyed look when he asks her something stupid or tries to crack a joke. he has a habit of flexing in front of a mirror for his snaps and takes advantage of the speed filter on snapchat to show off how fast his vehicle can go, and then do the snap of shame when he gets pulled over. he’ll get jasper or edward to make a snap of him doing a backflip or doing something to show off his physical prowess. he also sends everyone the same snap he uploads to his story.
rosalie is your average every day snapchat girl who makes sure her make-up is on fleek before she updates her story. she overuses the dog and flower crown filters and adds captions based off lyrics. she’ll make snap videos of herself lip-syncing to certain songs and take snaps of her nails, of her wallet, and embody the ‘luxury snapchat girl’ trope by updating her story with shopping trips, luxury vacations, expensive wallets, sexy dresses, expensive drinks. she’ll scream at her family to “delete that!!” if they post a snap of her and she doesn’t like how she looks in it. her snapchat is mostly filled with selfies and videos of her. she’ll get her family to make videos of her for her story and take pictures. she’ll also make them re-take the pictures thirty, forty times until she finds the right angle and pose.
alice updates with motivational/inspirational quotes, cute selfies of herself with jasper, and she’ll take double filter-photos with bella for flower crowns and puppy faces. she has a way of sneak-snapping and her stories are golden with candid videos of her family. she takes photos of her legs, her hands, the scenery, and adds the time stamp to them or simply leaves them as is. she’s the one who’ll go on snapchat rants about social issues or current events in the world, and she’ll do “outfit of the day!” segments in her stories. a lot of the time, she’ll give fashion advice, do make-up tutorials, review products and do little “friendly reminders!”. her friendly reminders usually tell people to be strong, they’re beautiful, to drink water and look after themselves in general. sometimes she’ll upload life hacks that actually work.
jasper is a menace to snapchat. he’s the thomas sanders of twilight; he sings portions of disney songs, he narrates people’s lives, he’ll record himself pulling a prank or doing something stupid to get a reaction out of his family. he photobombs his family a lot and targets edward to ruin his snaps. jasper rarely uses filters unless they’re on other people or they add humour to his stories. he’ll do stupid things and get someone like alice to record him, and you can hear her saying things like “i don’t think that’s gonna work” and losing her breath from laughing so hard when jasper screws up immensely. he takes cute selfies of himself with alice and usually makes a stupid face with emmett when he takes pictures with him. if he’s going somewhere with one of his family members or it’s a family outing, he’ll record himself asking them their thoughts/opinions on what they’re doing/where they’re going. he’s the one who stands away from his family and makes a confused facial expression when they’re all arguing or yelling, and records it. he also records himself lip-syncing to popular songs.
